One of the most common failings of the P38 remote is the button pad and the battery cover. Instead of replacing the complete key fob, which cost in the region of £100 plus reprogramming.
You can give your remote a new lease of life. If your Key Fob looks like the examples below you need one of our repair kits. |

This key fob has the button pad ripped due to over-use and snagging. Re-fitting is easy, the old pad can be removed using a small screw driver or similar using care not to damage the contacts. The new pad simply presses in place with a click when seated. |

This key fob has the rear battery cover damaged due to using an unsuitable tool to try and remove it. The best way to remove the cover properly is using a 2p coin! Using a screw driver that is too small causes the damage that you see on the photo. |
All of our full repair kits include the front key button pad, rear battery cover, weather seal 'O' ring and 2 new batteries.. These are of retail quality and these are genuine Land Rover parts and not seconds.
