Serpentine Drive Belt
This replacement fits the following:
ALL Range Rovers P38 4.0/4.6 1994-1999 (GEMS)
if you require a belt for the later Thor engines then you need to view our other serpentine drive belt, or email us for information.
If you are unsure you can check the following:

if your engine has a square inlet manifold with 4.0 or 4.6 stamped on it this will fit your vehicle (GEMS)
One of the great advantages when Land Rover decided to move over to the 'one belt' system was that it was easy to change, also if the belt that had gone was behind the other two then you had a laborious job to get to it let alone change it.
The great disadvantage however is that if it snaps then you lose the lot, alternator, air conditioning, water pump and power steering. This renders your Range Rover un-drivable until you get a replacement.
These belts should be replaced every 24 months as a matter of routine or when cracks begin to appear sideways along the belt.
If you are planning a long journey or yours is looking a little worn it makes sense to replace it.
